🏗️ At Jurong Port Integrated Construction Park (JP ICP), groundbreaking innovations in automation are set to reshape the future of construction. Among these are a first-of-its-kind automated conveyor system, and next-gen ready-mixed concrete (RMC) manufacturing plants. Also, by bringing key construction facilities closer together, we are unlocking new levels of efficiency in producing construction components.

As we continue to evolve towards a more integrated, productive, and sustainable construction ecosystem, it is crucial for BE professionals to leverage emerging technologies and upskill themselves to stay ahead of the curve.

⬅️ Swipe to explore how the cutting-edge technologies at JP ICP are driving this transformation and boosting productivity across the industry.

🗂️ With projects becoming more complex and with multiple stakeholders involved, it is crucial to establish a standard for information management to organise the digital assets within the Common Data Environment (CDE). This helps to improve collaboration between stakeholders, and enables them to maximise the potential of harnessing and leveraging technology for better decision-making, including the use of building information modelling (BIM).

To facilitate this, the National Annex of ISO 19650-2 has been developed as a Singapore Standard, to help industry professionals better understand the ISO standards in local terminology, and guide how information can be managed in a structured manner. The Land Transport Authority (LTA) of Singapore is one of the early adopters that has started implementing these standards across multiple projects.

This International Volunteer Day, let’s celebrate the power of giving back!

We’re proud of Ziyi from BCA, who, alongside Gopinanthan from CPF Board and Razali from Singapore Customs, have been making a positive impact through the Public Service For Good movement.

By mentoring youth and supporting senior communities, these officers exemplify how volunteering enriches personal growth and professional development.

🎥 Their stories in this video by CareersGov SG remind us that contributing to the community is a powerful way to grow while making a difference.

🎉 Congratulations to Jurong Port on the successful launch of Singapore’s first Integrated Construction Park (ICP) earlier this week!

Officially launched by Minister for National Development Mr Desmond Lee, this milestone marks a significant advancement in the BE sector as we move towards an advanced manufacturing environment. By moving construction processes off-site to factory-like settings, it improves supply chain efficiency and enhances productivity.

ICPs are crucial for fostering an integrated and sustainable construction ecosystem, as well as addressing challenges such as land and manpower constraints. This innovative approach moves us away from the traditionally fragmented supply chain and paves the way for a more cohesive, productive, and sustainable future for the sector.

🫱🏽‍🫲🏾 The Government remains committed to driving productivity and strengthening local capabilities in construction. Let’s continue working together to build a stronger, more sustainable built environment for Singapore!
