As the mains is less than a month away, a few reminders:

1. 20-25 days are still a lot when used efficiently. So keep going and do not loose faith.

2. Language papers you should never ignore. Try solving last year’s paper to assess your level of preparation. Can add reading ‘your selected language’ newspaper.

3. Shift your focus now on giving full length GS and optional papers. Analyse if you are able to finish paper on time, presentation , meeting the demand of the question.

4. If you are someone like me who did not have short notes all made, this is the time to summarise everything. Make concise notes that you can lookup on the last day.

5. Last but not the least, if you are feeling stressed talk to your friends and family. Your mental well being is just as important.
I usually kept accountability of how much I am able to follow my timetable, it’s always good to measure your progress… there are many apps online and it can be a good tool too.
This is was the YPT app that one of the people from the group had suggested.
Throughout my journey, I had self doubts, there are so many people out there smarter than me who prepare and dont get through, was this the correct decision? But then every time especially during Mains I told myself, there are so many new things to learn and hence I kept trying to focus on the process.

No one knows what the future holds for them, but the only thing you gotta do is give your best! To all those who are writing mains this year, its one of the most hectic and overwhelming phases, you might feel that ,” How will I finish this ocean like syllabus?”, feeling guilty for having taken breaks in between…. But trust the process, if you feel like that you didnt finish your goal, thats okay
RESTART the next day! And keep this going till your papers

These are the same things which I had told in the live stream….but just consolidated.

It has been a week now since the prelims, and it is essential for everyone to take breaks before starting again, hope that everyone has done it.

Whether or not you think that you are going to get through, you should be planning to prepare for mains in the next 3 months. If you have not finished the basic subjects of pre itself, then you may not follow this.

The amount of studying that you will do with this timeline will be of the greatest intensity since you will have to ensure to finish everything or at least try to.

Some important things to do-

1. Set a timetable, exactly to the date of your mains. Two rounds of all subjects, giving optional utmost importance, I had tried to give 1 day GS, 1 day optional more or less.

2. Overcome your fear of answer writing. We think we will write the best when we have read everything, but remember this is an exam about writing and not reading. Start writing PYQs everyday and if on the days you don’t feel like writing or you had something more to do, at least brainstorm. Structure and content both. Doing this everyday will go a long way.

3. Accountability in these 3 months is a very important thing. In my case , I used to be motivated cause I knew getting through pre is something that doesn’t happen very often. Find your cause or people to do that.

Answer writing is a lot about how you can write with whatever you have read and learnt in life until now! Even Essays.
Best of luck to everyone who is giving Prelims tomorrow🙏🏻

The only thing I would like to share is that Now is the time to have faith, belief and confidence in yourself and all your hard-work! Every one of you must have studied to the best of their abilities and as I heard Jeetu bhaiyya say, “ Jeet ki tayyari nhi, TAYYARI HI JEET HAI .” So remind yourself of your all your efforts and DO YOUR KARMA! Thats all we are ever supposed to do and let the rest take its course.

Tomorrow your karma is to not get bogged down by challenges but be the best version of yourself in those 4 hours.

Few things for tomorrow-
1. Try to take good sleep but even if you end up not being able to sleep do not panic. Your body has mechanisms to adjust in such situations just be calm and focused.
2. Never check your GS answers immediately after the paper. Do not discuss anything till your CSAT is done. This will play a very important role tomorrow. Your Mindset.
3. You can take toffees and water. Chocolate can help
Boost energy if at all you feel so. Although I did not eat, kept it handy.
4. No matter what the paper, take every question anew, do not carry that baggage of not knowing one question to your entire paper.

All my best wishes again to all out there🙏🏻
