💭 | In the context of the way the season has panned out, United were respectable in today’s Manchester Derby. It was on the duller side as a game of football on the whole - neither side particularly imposing themselves on an attacking front - but United were solid in their setup and executed a clear plan while limiting Manchester City for the most part.

🔎 | United were probably the better side. They were often content to allow City to have possession, but they were compact in their defensive structure and occasionally pounced to launch attacks. Unfortunately though, the attacking play again lacked quality and conviction and was generally blunt. It was a case of two sides similarly lacking a cutting edge.

🇧🇷 | Casemiro was the standout player, for me. He has rebounded from a period during which his United future looked in doubt. Eleven tackles this afternoon marked the joint-most managed by a United player in a Premier League game ever and the most of any player in a single game across Europe’s top five leagues this season. #mufc#manutd
