VERITY: Dakota Johnson Comes Aboard Forthcoming Colleen Hoover Film Adaptation

Dakota Johnson To Star in Verity
Dakota Johnson of 50 Shades of Gray will appear in a leading role in the upcoming film adaptation of a book by Colleen Hoover, Verity.
Anne Hathaway will play a best-selling author named Verity Crawford in Amazon MGM's Verity which features the story of what happens when Hathaway's character's husband, Jeremy (to be played by Josh Hartnett), gets involved after Verity abruptly seems to disappear from the spotlight. A woman named Lowen Ashleigh is asked to step in to help with completing some of the author's heavy writing. Dakota Johnson is going to be playing Lowen in the film who is a struggling writer. Johnson was recently seen in the compelling taxi-cab drama, Daddio, where she played opposite Oscar-winner Sean Penn. Michael Showalter has been tapped to direct the forthcoming picture which, as stated, is an adaptation of a novel from Colleen Hoover.
