HELP WANTED! :)

Furrydelphia is looking for general volunteers to help out for an hour or two here and there. In particular, we're looking for people willing to work 1 to 4 hours of badge check a day (we're pretty short handed on badge checkers this year) to help fill in blanks on our schedule.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT! Subject: Philly Pride!

This year, Furrydelphia is getting involved at Philly's "Be YOU!" pride parade and festival, this Sunday June 2!

We will be coordinating a furry group for the pride parade! The parade starts at 11am at Washington Square park at 6th and Walnut. We want the biggest turnout of furries we can get! Everyone is welcome to join us - fursuits are encouraged, but we suggest partialing instead of full suiting as it's likely to be hot and we don't have any space for people to change into their suits.

Important announcement:

As the convention approaches, please be aware that Furrydelphia, like many other conventions this year, is seeing a tremendously increased number of foreign scammers trying to con people looking for hotel rooms. Please use extreme caution when interacting with strangers whom you have never met.

Pay particular attention to these red flags:
• No account username
• Few profile pictures, or lack thereof
• Multiple profile pictures uploaded in quick succession
• Broken English and improper grammar
• Under-usage or over-usage of furry terminology
• Obviously stolen artwork (cropped low quality images, well-known art pieces, etc)

Never pay for a room with cryptocurrency, wire transfer, gift cards, or similar methods. Be extremely cautious of any requests for advance payment, especially "deposits" or "confirmation payments".

If anything seems off, it is better to play it safe and look elsewhere. Please report suspicious activity to an admin as soon as possible.
