Starting this Saturday, February 15th, the parish will collect blessed palms from your homes. Simply drop them off in the designated boxes at the church foyer.

As you bring these palms—symbols of Christ’s triumph—from your homes, take a moment to give thanks. When placing them in the boxes, offer a simple prayer: "Thank you, Jesus," acknowledging His role as King and Saviour. 💜

The Chinese Language Apostolate invites all language groups to join us for the Chinese New Year Gala on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 6pm in the church hall.

This year’s theme is:
"Welcoming the New Year with the Holy Family: Blessings and Joy for All."

World Day for Consecrated Life is celebrated annually on 2nd February, coinciding with the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord.

This year, Pope Francis highlighted the essential role of consecrated life in bringing the “light” of the evangelical counsels—poverty, chastity, and obedience—to the world. He emphasised the call to be free from worldly attachments and deepen encounters with the Lord in the Eucharist, aligning with the Jubilee of Hope and the upcoming Jubilee of Consecrated Life in October 2025.

Heavenly Father,

We thank you for the 21 years of priesthood of Father Michael Chua.

Lord, continue to renew, increase, and strengthen in him the graces received at ordination as he carries out his sacred ministry in the Holy Church.

Support him with the Spirit’s gifts so that he continues to preach the Gospel with priestly zeal and lead us his flock, with wisdom, strength, and courage.

May his example of faithful service be an inspiration to your priests and to all your faithful.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝

This year, the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord falls on a 2nd February, Sunday. As part of the celebration, candles will be blessed at all Masses this coming weekend.

The blessed candles symbolise Jesus, the Light of the World, whose presence drives away all spirits of darkness.

Parishioners can place candles tagged with name on the table prepared at the entrance of the Church before entering and collect the blessed candles after Mass.

A candlelight procession will take place at the beginning of the 6pm anticipated/sunset Mass on Saturday, 1st February.
