This is THE FULL TEXT:
“At present, the Russian economy is stagnating; the country’s GDP is smaller than that of a single Chinese province, and prices are rising rapidly.
The conflict in Ukraine, which began in 2022, forced Russia’s main forces to redeploy westward, leaving fewer than 50,000 troops in the Far East—essentially an empty shell. This region is rich in resources—gold, diamonds, oil, and much more—and accounts for a significant share of Russia’s national output.
However, the Russian government’s finances have been undermined by the war, preventing it from focusing on this issue. China, on the other hand, faces a serious energy shortfall: gas pipelines from the Far East deliver 38 billion cubic meters of natural gas annually, enough to meet only 10% of the country’s gas needs.
If chaos erupts in Russia’s central government, problems could easily flare up in the Far East, and external powers such as the United States and Japan will certainly watch developments closely. China has been actively involved in the Far East for many years. Chinese companies build roads and ports there, engage in mining and agriculture, and bring in capital and technology. The yuan is increasingly used there, even by small businesses that use WeChat.
One should not try to seize the Far East by force; this would lead to global containment, as in Crimea. A rational approach is to be more accommodating: keep investing money and human resources, sign long-term contracts, and support pro-China forces in the region. Nominally independent, but in practice dependent on Chinese support. The Far East is sparsely populated, remote, and has poor infrastructure; Russia cannot manage it effectively on its own. China helps fill the gaps, thereby securing its vital interests.
The Russian Far East is currently experiencing severe depopulation, turning into uninhabited territories. Chinese immigrants could come there to work, but they should be careful not to trigger resentment among the local population.
China must prepare for the worst; otherwise panic could begin. History teaches us that territorial vacuums are always filled. The Qing Dynasty lost territories because it lacked the strength to defend them. China is in a different position now; it has economic leverage. It should continue expanding its presence by penetrating through trade, culture, and finance. First, prepare the ground, conclude agreements, and facilitate yuan circulation. When the political landscape changes, China will be firmly entrenched, gaining real control.
Overall, China’s plans for the Far East are long-term. The main focus is economic penetration. Seven million square kilometers must not be lost, because this is about security and resources. Russia’s collapse is not a joke; only with thorough preparation can one move forward calmly.”

Howdy, friends!
I just made a video explaining China’s plans for Russia (hint: not good for Russia). The very revealing articles in various Chinese media outlets inspired me to make this video (you can watch the video here https://youtube.com/live/XkaZGl554J0?feature=share )
Chinese media allegedly published an article that, in short, argues:
• If Russia collapses, China should be ready to take control of the Far East—a 7 million km² territory with rich resources and weak defenses. Historically, these lands “belonged to China” but were lost in the 19th century through unequal treaties with Tsarist Russia.
• China is already deepening its presence: building infrastructure, supplying technology, investing in resource extraction, expanding the yuan’s use, increasing influence via the SCO, and locking in long-term energy contracts.
• Russia’s economy is weakening; the Far East is poorly protected and increasingly dependent on Chinese investment—creating opportunities for “soft” control from Beijing.
