🇺🇸 She doesn't believe that Putin wants peace. Donald Trump believes that Putin wants all of Ukraine, - the White House Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles, gave an unexpectedly candid interview to Vanity Fair about the Trump administration.
Wiles said that she read Epstein's documents and confirmed that Trump's name was in them.
Wiles said that she urged Trump not to pardon the most violent participants in the January 6 riots. He ignored her advice.
She admitted that Trump seeks political revenge: "when the opportunity arises, he will take it."
She tried to convince Trump to stop "dealing with" his political enemies after 90 days in office. These efforts failed, as Trump's desire for revenge never disappeared.
Wiles directly refuted Trump's claims about Bill Clinton, stating that "there is no evidence" that Clinton ever visited Jeffrey Epstein's private island.
She described Trump as having "the personality of an alcoholic". Wiles said that her ability to work with him came from growing up with an alcoholic father.
Regarding Vice President JD Vance, Wiles said that he had been a "conspiracy theorist for a decade" and that his transition from Trump critic to supporter was political, driven by his Senate ambitions, not principles.
She described Elon Musk as a "heavy ketamine user", a "quirky, strange guy" whose actions were often "irrational" and caused her "horror".
She defended USAID, saying that "anyone who pays attention to the government's activities knows that they do a very good job".
She said that Attorney General Pam Bondi "completely failed" the Epstein case, explaining:
"At first, she provided folders full of nonsense. Then she claimed that a list of witnesses or a list of clients was on her desk. There is no client list - and it certainly wasn't on her desk."
She said that the administration should "more carefully" consider deportation issues to avoid mistakes.
She unsuccessfully tried to convince Trump to delay the introduction of high tariffs, citing a "huge disagreement of opinions" among his advisers.
👉 After the publication of the interview, she stated that Vanity Fair allegedly ignored the "important context" in her words and "many" of her statements about US President Trump and his cabinet were "excluded from the story".
"The article, published early in the morning, is a dishonestly packaged hit piece about me and the best president, White House staff, and cabinet in history," wrote Susie Wiles.

"To grow into a strong tree, you need both sun and rain" - it was nice to see you again, Steve Whitkoff, in Berlin, even if the sun didn't always shine during the negotiations. But after all, the sun that shines continuously turns the earth into a desert. Thank you for the wonderful spirit of mutual respect and cooperation. Our teams still have important work to do. Have a safe journey home and happy holidays!

A rift has emerged between the EU and its English-speaking allies over support for Ukraine, according to a Politico Poll conducted in early December in five countries — the UK, Canada, Germany, the US, and France. Key points:
Nearly half of Germans (45%) supported reducing financial aid, while only 20% wanted to increase it. In France, 37% wanted to give Kyiv less, and 24% favored increasing support.
In the US, 37% of respondents supported increasing financial support, in Canada — 35%, and in the UK — 31%. Opposing this were 22%, 24%, and 24% respectively.
In Germany and France, the most opponents of aid were among supporters of far-right parties — the Alternative for Germany and the French National Rally.
Nearly 40% of Americans, Brits, and Canadians supported a higher level of military aid, while about 20% were against it.
In Germany, 26% supported increasing military aid to Ukraine, while 39% opposed it. In France, opinions were evenly divided: 31% supported an increase, and 30% — a reduction.
Germany was the only country where the majority of respondents (over 50%) believed that their government should accept fewer Ukrainian refugees.
Half of Germans also stated that Berlin should reduce support for Ukrainians who have already settled in the country.

🇩🇪Next year, Germany will transfer a large number of Sidewinder air-to-air missiles from its reserves to Ukraine, announced German Defense Minister Pistorius.
Ukrainian engineers have been able to modify these missiles for ground-based launch, so their range of use for air defense purposes is quite extensive.

🛢 Prices for Russian oil have reached their lowest level since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, - writes Bloomberg.
Western sanctions are increasing the discounts that Russia is forced to offer, and futures for benchmark oil grades are falling.
On average, Russian oil exporters receive just over 40 dollars per barrel, according to data from Argus Media. This is 28% less than in the last three months, and recent restrictions aimed against oil giants "Rosneft" and "Lukoil" have further worsened the price situation.

"Now it's necessary to eliminate these root causes. It's good that the Americans have understood this. They clearly said that there can be no NATO. And they clearly said that the lands on which Russians have lived for centuries should become Russian again," stated the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Lavrov.
Among other demands of Russia, he mentioned the "restoration of rights" of the Moscow church and the Russian language in Ukraine.
He also stated that Nazism is resurging in Europe.*

In Moscow region, a teenager with a knife attacked school students.
One student was killed, three were injured. The children are being evacuated. The teenage attacker has been detained.
The attacker turned out to be 15-year-old Timofey K., a fan of Nazi ultra-right organizations and ideology. His helmet was decorated with radical slogans and the names of right-wing organizations, including from the USA.
The child who was killed by the Nazi teenager was named Kobiljon. The attacker was deliberately looking for "non-Russians".
A typical Russian reality: you're looking for Nazis in Ukraine, but they're all in Russia itself.

🇺🇸The United States is offering Ukraine security guarantees similar to Article 5 of NATO, but this proposal is time-limited, according to Politico.
The US has proposed security guarantees to Ukraine that, in their content, resemble the obligations under Article 5 of NATO. This is the clearest and strongest security proposal that the Donald Trump administration has voiced regarding Ukraine, but it has time restrictions.
According to a senior US official, "guarantees like Article 5 will not remain on the table indefinitely" and will only be in effect if agreements are reached "in an acceptable manner".

🇵🇱🇺🇸The USA will give a military response in the event of a new Russian attack on Ukraine, - Donald Tusk
The Prime Minister's words are quoted by the Polish internet portal Onet News. According to him, for the first time it is so clearly visible that the USA, Europe, and Ukraine are on the same side.
The Polish Prime Minister stressed that the only real opportunity to force Russia to serious negotiations on ending the war or at least a truce is the unification of the entire West.
It is necessary that we, together with the Americans and Ukrainians, act as allies so that the Russians and Putin see that it is impossible to drive a wedge between these three parties.

Zelenksy confirmed that German Chancellor Merz proposed the idea of a Christmas truce. According to him, the US and Ukraine support this proposal, but the decision depends on "Russia's political will".
Ukraine will not recognize Donbass as Russian, either de jure or de facto, - Zelensky
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, responding to a question about a potential referendum on territorial concessions and the creation of a buffer zone in Donbass, said:
As for the Russians' position, it hasn't changed yet - they want our Donbass. Our position is practical, realistic, and fair: we don't want to give up our Donbass.
The Americans want to find a compromise, they propose a free economic zone. I emphasize again - a free economic zone doesn't mean under the control of Russia. These are important features for me of any format of Donbass. Neither de jure nor de facto will we recognize Donbass as Russian, the part that is temporarily occupied - definitely not.
However, we will discuss the issue of territory. This is one of the key issues on which we don't have a consensus yet.

🇺🇸They have already lost territory. The territory is lost. But as for security guarantees, we are working on this together with Europe. We don't want war to start again, - Trump about Ukraine.
