MHB, through its subsidiary MMHE, participated in the BPCO 2nd Decarbonization Technical Conference on 12th November 2024 in Athens. Encik Hisham Haron, Senior General Manager of Marine Business, represented MHB during a panel session, highlighting the company’s commitment to sustainability and expertise in EEXI retrofitting solutions for Greek shipowners.

The event provided a platform to showcase MHB’s capabilities in delivering high-profile maritime projects and reinforced its role in supporting the industry’s transition to greener operations. MHB remains dedicated to innovation and sustainability, strengthening ties with key stakeholders in Greece, the world’s largest merchant fleet hub, to drive progress toward cleaner oceans.

𝐀 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫-𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬: 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢-𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐣𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲!

After nearly two years of dedication, we’re proud to announce the successful sailaway of the Rosmari-Marjoram Project topside, a solar-powered, unmanned offshore platform built at our MMHE West Yard. This 11,000 MT structure departed on 26 September 2024, heading for offshore Bintulu, Sarawak. Earlier, on 10 September 2024, we delivered its 158-meter U-Loop design jacket, one of the longest ever fabricated.

The project achieved 2.8 million exposure hours with zero Lost Time Injuries and defects. Once operational, it will harness solar energy to export 800 million cubic feet of gas daily to the Bintulu Onshore Gas Plant.
