I find great inspiration in the story of Caleb, as it powerfully illustrates why God often allows battles to arise in our lives.

Caleb faithfully served God as a leader of his tribe through the 40 wilderness years of Israel. However, on the eve of the fulfilment of God's promise to him and his family, he faced his greatest challenge yet: to take Hebron from the Canaanites [Joshua 14]. The scripture says through Caleb's leadership giants were expelled from the land.

We can learn from Caleb's story that the fulfillment of God's promise was not going to happen without a battle, and it would require the greatest test of his faith and dependence on God.

Are you facing battles of life? Don't be stressed or discouraged. It must be a test of your faith and dependency upon God. Don't lose focus – continue your journey with God.

I declare over your life; corridors of favour that positions you in high places! Not only will you sit with the great but you will be counted amongst them.

Silence is louder than any voice there is. Do not waste time trying to prove yourself to people, trying to convince them that you are right. You owe them no explanation! In fact, all they want is your attention. Do not give it to them.

I saw the Lord embarrassing those fighting you in a twinkling of an eye. I saw them so broke that very soon, they will come to beg and borrow from you. This will come to pass, and you will see it.

Behave like a fool in order to fool a fool!

Jesus is the prince of peace! I therefore declare that your household shall be a sanctuary for peace! I pray that your family shall be a haven of peace, love, and harmony! I come against any spirit of fights, and I cover your family with the blood of Jesus!
