We've made some important changes to how touch interactions are handled throughout the app. This is a critical part of the code, and any issues could make the launcher unusable.

- Your Feed: Related articles covering the same news are now automatically grouped, making it easier to follow stories without seeing repetitive content in your feed. You can change this in the feed options.
- Swipe gestures on home icons are now available — no need to unlock the feature.
- Resolved a few issues related to the new swipe gestures.

- You can now drag and drop contacts and shortcuts from the search page to the home screen.

- Added an option to automatically place new app icons on the home screen when a new app is installed.
- Improved the font picker screen, now allowing you to delete installed fonts by long-pressing them.
- Resolved an issue where the launcher could freeze if a widget crashed.
- Preparing a new feature to assign custom actions to swipe gestures on home icons. It isn't available yet but we already made some changes, let us know if you find anything unusual.

In the latest build, we added an option to hide the music widget when no music is playing. However, instead of becoming completely transparent, the widget currently displays a translucent white border to indicate its position. Since this solution hasn’t been well-received by some users, we’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback.
The wait is over. Smart Launcher 6.5 arrives tomorrow for most of you!
