Hello students

Today is the last date to avail the discount on Sociology Paper II course beginning from 12th November.

Use code : DIWALI24 to avail 24% off
Why do we launch it as a stand-alone course ?

We firmly believe that a student isn't as confident of Srinivas, Ghurye and Desai as much as they are of Marx, Weber, and Durkheim.

Since their introduction to these figures remain weak, their interest shatters and with that, their confidence too.

Since those who have done their foundation, either self or through other institutions, cannot afford the whole course, we launch it as a standalone course.

Deliverables

35 crisp classes starting from the basics (you can come blank slate).

3 Tests (2 sectional + 1 full length)

MCQ module for quick revision

PYQ included: We cover PYQs with completion of every topic.

No added pressure of extra handouts.

Current included: But we don't flood you with daily dose. Our focus is building strong base.

Answer writing session: coz until students write, they don't get it right.

Dear Students,

In the past 3-4 months, I met with many students and found some of the recurring problems commonly experienced by most of them.

My suggestion:

♦️Avoid overloading yourself with newspapers and magazines for Sociology:
While it might seem helpful to read multiple articles and publications, their direct utility for sociology is often very limited. We can easily provide you with multiple newspaper articles & PDFs everyday, it may give you short term enlightening moment, but it won't help you significantly in the long run.

♦️Rather than spending time on current events every day, dedicate your energy to studying static sociological concepts in depth. This year's sociology paper is a clear indicator of the fact that current is close to redundant now.

♦️ Stop reading PYQ books or readymade solutions for questions. Until you hold a pen,  paper and brainstorm on your own, no PYQ book can help you. Today, many PYQ books are available and still people are struggling to write basics like  relevance of Weber's Ideal type, examples of positivism beyond suicide, and most unfortunate of all, students are writing scientists as the example of Merton's innovator. It's very unfortunate that the availability of multiple sources is turning out to be a Bane for students.

♦️No teacher or credible person is making these PYQ books, it's all made by students who are looking for temporary work to meet their ends & these students, in turn,  are using ChatGPT to complete their work on time.

♦️ Don't confuse a list of thinkers with list of content. You don't get marks by dropping names, you have to drop concrete points and substantiate them with 'few' thinkers.

♦️Lastly, finish your optional preparation by December end at any cost. Please Save your time & please stick to basics.
