With the Divine Blessings of Bhagawan, an advanced 1010 KVA diesel generator was inaugurated at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences at Puttaparthi this morning by the Managing Trustee of Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust - Sri RJ Rathnakar in the presence of Dr Gurumurthy (Director, SSSIHMS - PG) and senior functionaries of the hospital.
Acquired at a cost of ₹95 lakh, the state-of-the-art Cummins 1010kVa generator, assembled by Powerica, is a significant upgrade to the existing backup power systems. It ensures uninterrupted power supply to critical patient care areas, allowing seamless healthcare services, even during power outages.
Speaking on the occasion, Sri Rathnakar emphasized the hospital’s unwavering commitment to serving humanity through continuous improvements in infrastructure. He further added, “At the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, it is our constant endeavor to equip all institutions with the finest resources to serve mankind better. This generator reflects our dedication to offering sustainable solutions while enhancing patient care.”
The new generator is a shining example of eco-friendly technology. It features best-in-class fuel efficiency, low operating costs, and minimal acoustic emissions, and complies with all current Government of India pollution control norms. By reducing its environmental footprint, the generator not only supports the hospital’s operations but also aligns with the Trust’s broader vision of serving humanity in harmony with nature.

What must we do to experience peace and security in our hearts? Bhagawan gives us a few simple tips which will help us.
Today, man is bereft of gratitude, which is one of the most essential qualities. He forgets the help rendered to him by others. As long as man is alive, he should be grateful for the help he received from others. There are two things you have to forget: the help you have rendered to others and the harm others have done to you. If you remember the help you have rendered, you will always expect something in return. Remembrance of the harm done to you by others generates in you a sense of revenge. You should remember only the help you received from others. The one with these sacred qualities is an ideal man. In this ephemeral and transient world, man always aspires for peace and security. But money, education, position of authority and physical comforts cannot confer peace and security. Peace originates from the heart. Man can experience peace and security only when his heart is filled with love. Love is God, love is Nature, love is life and love is the true human value. Bereft of love, man is equivalent to a corpse. You should lead a life filled with love. Love even the worst of your enemies.
