Illinka was taken by 114th motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Army after days of combats. Ukrainian Army retreated completely towards Berestky & Nova Illinka, the only suburb of Kurakhove north of the reservoir.

Situation southwest of Donetsk: Russian Army made significant advances west of Pobjeda, northwest of Kostyantynivka & north of Antonivka. In addition, Russian forces made new advances east of Bohoyavlenka.

Situation on Kurakhove front: Russian Army took full control over the first defense lines of Kurakhove from the east. In addition, new advances were made inside the town, where Russian forces captured Roja railway station & School Nº3.

Situation north od Donetsk: During the last two days Russian Army made new advances in Terny & now controls half of the locality. In addition, Russian forces made some advances east of Yampolivka.

Ukrainian-Russian war. Day 992:
Situation on Kursk front:
- At Korenevsky district Russian Army recaptured again the eastern part of Novoivanovka & aproched to the adjacent Leonidovo.
- At Sudzhansky district during the last 48 hours Russian Army made significant advances west of Borki taking control over a series of positions along Psel river & recaptured 75% of the locality of Plekhovo.

There is a section of this front where we will be able to observe a break of the Ukrainian defense line. It is the border of Donetsk & Zaporizhia. Previously it was mentioned that the capture of Velyka Novosilka would allow the entry of Russian forces into the Dnipropetrovsk oblast, a reality that we will witness in 2025. however, the entry into this oblast will have an even deeper meaning, and that is the arrival to the rear of the Ukrainian defense line and from there to advance towards the Dnieper. The Ukrainian command is aware of this danger and is already building perpendicular lines of defense to stop the future Russian advance, which regardless of an offensive in Zaporizhia or not will take place next year.

The accumulation of Russian troops in Zaporizhia seems to indicate that the Russian command may initiate a winter offensive in this oblast.
In the event of such an offensive there will be a series of advances along different axes of the front advancing to the important cities of Orykhiv and Huliapole. More than a great offensive, it is more possible that there will be gradual advances towards the two cities but not beyond. The huge defense line built by the Ukrainian forces would prevent a significant advance here. In addition, the Russian army would suffer significant attrition in its attempts to break through this line, very similar to what happened to the Ukrainian army in the summer of 2023.
Does this mean that there will be no offensive as such?

Situation on Velikaya Novoselovka & Zaporizhia front: While the operation to recapture Makarivka was taking place Russian Army restarted the attacks north of the lakes area retaking Rivnopil & aproaching to the southern outskirts of Novodarivka.

Sudan Civil War: [12/11/2024]: 🇸🇩
Situation on Darfur front: Combats continue close to the center of Fasher city. During the last three days RSF managed to capture a series of positions & reached the outskirts of Fasher big market, where rebel forces were at the end repelled by SAF.

Situation on Jazirah front: After the failure operation to take Tmaboul three weeks ago SAF retreated several kilometers south & east. The current frontline is located betweenthe localities of Wada Jawadat & Kahili Zidan.

Situation on Khartum front: SAF continued the advances in Bahri taking control over Research and Consultation Center Alsnaabh & Al-Zarqa Engineering Complex in Shambat district.

Recent video footage shows that the perpetrators of the dam bursting near Stari Terny were Ukrainian troops. This indicates that the Ukrainian situation around Kurakhove is very difficult and will accelerate the withdrawal process in the short term. Meanwhile, Russian forces have taken control of the first line of defence in the east and already control 15% of the important Ukrainian stronghold in the south-west of Donetsk oblast.

Situation on Kurakhove front:
- North of Kurakhove reservoir: Russian Army took full control over the localities of Novoselydivka & Voznesenka. In addition, Russian forces made new advances inside Illinka.
- South of Kurakhove reservoir: Russian forces entered in Dalnye & captured half of the locality. Moreover, Russian troops advanced inside the town of Kurakhove along Zaporizkyi avenue reaching Roja railway station & School Nº3.

Situation on Toretsk front: During the first days of November the frontline inside the city of Toretsk hasn't changed significantly, with back & forth from both Ukrainian Army & Russian Army. The main clashes are taking place at "Shakhta Centralnaya" Mine (48°23'30.4"N 37°50'36.2"E), UVK “School-Lyceum” (48°23'45.8"N 37°50'50.1"E), the Palace of Culture “Ukraine” (48°23'53.0"N 37°51'01.4"E) & Shcherbinovka 110/35/6 kV substation (48°23'51.6"N 37°51'24.9"E).
