Situation on Velikaya Novoselovka & Komarskaya fronts: Russian Army entered in the locality of Novokhatske. In addition, Russian forces made new advances inside Myrne & began advancing west of Komar. Moreover, Russian troops continue advancing towards Voskresenka.

Situation on Ilyinovskaya & Shakhovskoy fronts: During the last four days Russian Army entered in Novotoretske & captured a third of the locality. In addition, Russian forces made new advances northwest of Koptjeve. On the other hand, Ukrainian Army managed to recapture completely the locality of Oleksandro-Kalynove & the eastern outskirts.

Situation on northeastern front: The situation continues to clarify in the north of Kupiansk. Ukrainian Army continues to hold positions in the center of Kindrashivka as well as on the western outskirts, while Russian Army continues to advance into the forests north of Radkivka from where it has entered the first houses of the village. On the other hand, Russian forces made small advances south of Vilshana as a result of positional battles.

In the last eight days, large fires have broken out on the coast and have devastated countless hectares. Despite the efforts of the extinguishing forces, the situation is still out of control. The causes of the fires are multiple, on the one hand the environmental conditions have favored the spread of the fires which are very common in summer; and on the other hand the armed groups have used the fires to continue their uprooting campaign against the population of the coast, mostly Alawite. Among these groups is Saraya Ansar al-Sunnah, a group attached to the security forces and their allies but with a profile closer to ISIS (possibly composed mostly of ISIS members infiltrated in the STGs).
In addition to the attacks on the economic and livelihood sources of the population unfortunately the killings against civilians continue significantly not only on the coast, but also in Homs and Hama, and even Damascus. Fortunately, foreign media are beginning to admit the role of the new authorities in the March massacres and may soon begin to admit their role in the systematic persecution of minorities throughout the country.
In the meantime, citizen's jadedness begins to grow as a result of instability and insecurity. Protesters who a few months ago went to see Jolani in Tartous and Latakia are now demonstrating against him in the coastal towns.🇸🇾

The agreements between the SDF and the STG/HTS remain stalled. Damascus is still not yielding to the federalist demands of eastern Syria and the incorporation of the democratic forces as an autonomous body within the new armed forces. In turn, the SDF is reluctant to the entry of the Damascus authorities into DAANES territory as well as the cession of oil and gas wells.
In recent weeks there has been talk of a hypothetical SDF offensive against ISIS in the Syrian desert. This is not only false but far from reality and close to the failure of the negotiations with HTS. In fact the SDF are still building a large trench south of Raqqa and not exactly to stop ISIS.
The March SDF-HTS pact to erect barriers and paint the map of Syria in full green is still aging and leaving in evidence many deluded people who still do not understand that the future of Syria must incorporate all its citizens and realities. 🇸🇾

The Sudanese civil war has entered a phase of war of attrition. After the end of the battles for the big cities, the battlefield has shifted to wide, desert areas where supply routes are more extensive and advances need more air cover. The SAF control the skies, so they can contain the advance of the rebel forces and gradually destroy their resources. However, the RSF has managed to free a large number of troops after withdrawing from Khartoum and is focusing on eliminating the last government pockets in Darfur and Kordofan to maintain a united front against the SAF. In addition, the RSF has managed to strengthen its relations with the SPLM and has strong popular support in South Darfur, which will prevent a rapid advance of the SAF.
We are likely to see a long war of attrition that will end either with a total victory for government forces or a frozen front and the “de facto” creation of a third Sudan under RSF indefinitely.🇸🇩

Situation north of Kordofan: The SAF launched a new attack on July 7 south of El Obeid, recapturing Kazgil (Video 1). However, after a counterattack, the RSF managed to recapture the locality (Video 2).
