.......................................................
The attention of the Academic Affairs Office of the UGSRC has been drawn to an email from the Institute of African Studies (IAS), requesting Level 200 students to register for the Institute’s UGRC Language Proficiency Courses, for the first semester of the 2020/2021 academic year.
We wish to reiterate that per the Draft Academic calendar issued earlier by the University’s Business and Executive Committee, commencement of Academic Registration for the 2020/2021 academic year will be subject to the Directives of the President of the Republic.
We also want to take this opportunity to inform students to note that any announcements pertaining to the commencement of the 2020/2021 academic year will be issued as appropriate, either from the Pro Vice-Chancellor (ASA), the Registrar or the Director of Academic Affairs.
Students must remain circumspect and vigilant but must refrain from circulating any unsubstantiated information.
The UGSRC will duly communicate to all students as and when any new developments emerge.
Thank you.
